Rules and Regulations
1. General Discipline
- Maintain discipline, dignity, and respect inside and outside the campus.
- Carry your college ID card at all times.
- Abusive language, harassment, discrimination, or violence are strictly prohibited.
- Respect faculty, staff, fellow students, and college property.
2. Dress Code
- Follow the prescribed uniform on all working days.
- In labs and workshops, coats, shoes, and safety gear are compulsory.
- Maintain neat grooming and personal hygiene.
Boys (UG & PG)
Allowed: Formal pant & shirt, shoes, blazer/coat.
Not Allowed: Jeans, T‑shirts, chappals, crocs, revealing clothing.
Girls (UG & PG)
Allowed: Salwar Kameez with Dupatta, uniform pant‑shirt with coat.
Not Allowed: Jeans, short kurtas, leggings with tops, loose hair, noisy ornaments.
3. Attendance & Leave
- Minimum 75% attendance per subject to appear for exams.
- Absence requires a leave application or medical certificate.
- Unauthorized absence more than 10 working days means removal from rolls.
4. Academic Integrity
- No copying, cheating, or plagiarism in any work.
- Projects and research must be original.
- Malpractice in exams will invite disciplinary action.
5. Classroom & Laboratory Conduct
- Be punctual and regular in all classes.
- Keep mobile phones switched off or silent in class and labs.
- Handle all equipment carefully; damages will be charged to those responsible.
6. Library Rules
- Maintain silence inside the library.
- ID card is mandatory for borrowing books.
- Return books on or before due date; late returns attract fines.
7. Use of Technology
- College Wi‑Fi is for academic use only.
- No misuse of ICT for illegal or unethical activities.
- No recording lectures or photos/videos without permission.
8. Hostel Rules
- Follow hostel in‑time schedules.
- Visitors allowed only during approved hours.
- No alcohol, drugs, smoking materials, or weapons.
- Ragging or misbehavior leads to immediate expulsion.
9. Ragging Prohibition
- Ragging is banned under UGC Act & Supreme Court directives.
- Offenders face suspension, dismissal, and legal action.
10. Examination Rules
- Carry hall ticket & ID card for every exam.
- No entry after 30 minutes from exam start.
- Unauthorized materials or electronics are prohibited.
- Malpractice leads to exam cancellation and penalties.
11. Extracurricular & Co‑curricular Activities
- Participate in sports, cultural, technical, and NSS/NCC events.
- Ensure participation maintains academic performance and discipline.
- Representing the college requires upholding institutional reputation.
12. Prohibited Activities
- No ragging, smoking, alcohol, drugs, gambling, or banned items.
- No damage or unauthorized use of college property.
- No unapproved political or religious activities inside campus.
13. Disciplinary Action
- Violation of rules may result in warnings, fines, suspension, or expulsion.
- The decision of the Principal or Disciplinary Committee shall be final.
