About Us

Our Placement Cell is a dedicated department that acts as a bridge between students and potential employers. Its primary role is to facilitate campus recruitment by coordinating with various companies and organizations to provide job opportunities for engineering graduates. The Placement Cell organizes activities such as pre-placement talks, resume workshops, mock interviews, and career counseling to prepare students for the recruitment process.

Additionally, the cell builds and maintains strong relationships with industry partners, invites recruiters to campus for interviews, and arranges internships to give students practical exposure. It also tracks employment trends and skill demands to help align the college’s academic programs with industry requirements. Overall, the Placement Cell plays a crucial role in enhancing students’ employability, ensuring successful job placements, and supporting their career growth in the engineering sector.

Objectives

★ To provide job opportunities to students by inviting reputed companies for campus recruitment.

★ To maintain transparency and fairness in the placement process.

2. Eligibility Criteria

✔ Only final-year students who are eligible to graduate at the end of the academic year can participate.

✔ Minimum attendance and academic performance (e.g., no backlogs or minimum CGPA requirement) as per college or company criteria.

✔ Students must register with the T&P Cell and submit their resume in the prescribed format.

3. Registration

▸ Registration for placement is mandatory to participate in campus drives.

▸ Students must provide accurate and up-to-date information in their registration forms.

4. Code of Conduct

● Students must attend pre-placement talks and recruitment processes in formal attire.

● Professional behavior is expected at all times.

● Any form of misconduct may lead to disqualification from further placement activities.

5. Selection Process

➤ The selection process will follow the format shared by the recruiting company: aptitude tests, technical interviews, group discussions, HR interviews, etc.

➤ The Placement Cell will facilitate all communication between students and recruiters.

6. Job Offer Rules

💼 A student will be considered out of the placement process once they receive one confirmed job offer (unless the policy allows “dream” or “super dream” offers – see next point).

💼 If the college has a dream/super dream policy, students placed in a regular offer may continue to apply for higher-paying jobs as defined by the institution.

7. Withdrawal from Placement

⚠ Students who wish to withdraw from a placement process must inform the T&P Cell in advance.

⚠ Withdrawing after applying or during the process without valid reason may lead to disqualification.

8. Internships

🏫 Internships (especially in pre-final year) are also facilitated by the T&P Cell.

🏫 Rules for internships will be governed by a separate internship policy or guidelines.

9. Final Authority

⚒ The Training & Placement Officer (TPO) reserves the right to amend any part of this policy based on situational requirements.

⚒ In case of disputes or confusion, the decision of the TPO and Principal shall be final and binding.
