Course OverviewMechanical engineers are responsible for the design and manufacture of the majority of products around us. Creating products that are smarter, cheaper and more environmental friendly is a key challenge for modern mechanical engineers. Energy is another important sector where the requirement of Mechanical engineers is very well needed. They identify new sources of alternative energy and develop energy efficient systems for power production and transmission. The scope of this course is to provide technical competence in the areas of thermal, design, manufacturing and industrial engineering. The knowledge and skills given to the students cater them to the higher levels in the industry, academia and research.
