The Anti-Ragging Committee is a statutory body established in accordance with the regulations of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to prevent and eliminate the menace of ragging in educational institutions.
Objective of Anti-Ragging Committee

  • Prevent any form of ragging in and around the campus.

Internal Compliance Committee (ICC) +
The Internal Compliance Committee (ICC) is a mandatory committee formed in workplaces and educational institutions to address and prevent sexual harassment of women at the workplace. It is established under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, commonly known as the POSH Act.

The main role of the ICC is to provide a safe, secure, and gender-sensitive environment by dealing with complaints of sexual harassment in a fair and confidential manner. The committee is responsible for accepting complaints, conducting inquiries, recommending appropriate action, and organizing awareness programs related to workplace behavior and women’s rights.

Committee for SC/ST +

As per the Scheduled Castes and Tribes – Prevention of Atrocities Act, the committee is established under the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (No. 33 of 1989, dated 11-09-1989). This committee is constituted for R.V.S. College of Engineering and Technology.

Objectives:
  • To create and maintain a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for SC/ST staff and students on campus.
  • To address issues of staff and students belonging to SC/ST communities and prevent atrocities.
  • To comply with AICTE regulations for establishing the SC/ST committee.
