Course OverviewApplied Electronics is a field that involves complex electronic apparatus, circuits and equipments that help in executing speedy and efficient communication system. Applied Electronics engineers engage in research, design, development and testing of the electronic equipment used in various communications systems. These engineers design, fabricate, maintain, supervise and manufacture electronic equipments used in computer, communication industry, defense, entertainment industry etc..The curriculum in applied Electronics Engineering lays greater emphasis on deep understanding about Digital Signal Processing, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Analog ICs , computer architecture, VLSI and embedded systems.

Course BreakupFirst year of the course students learn about advanced concepts of VLSI, Digital Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Analog ICs. In the second year apart from Elective subjects students have to do a Project Phase I and then Phase II in the fourth semester.
